Wedding bells were in the air Saturday (3/3) in San Antonio when 41 KSHB reporter Christina Medina and photojournalist Andy Pollard tied the knot before family members and several employees and alumni who have worked with the couple over the years.
“The number of out-of-town guests spoke volumes about the friendships Christina and Andy have developed during their time in KC,” KSHB investigative reporter Ryan Kath told Bottom Line.
Kath and Pollard work in the KSHB investigative unit and Kath was quick to praise his co-worker: “He’s an extremely talented photojournalist and editor.”
A list of media people who traveled to the wedding was impressive.
The guest list included: Elyna Niles-Carnes (KSHB producer); Karen Graber (KSHB producer); Jennie Rinas (KSHB producer); Ben Chandler (KSHB photojournalist); Al Miller (KSHB photojournalist); Sam Hartle (KSHB assignment desk); Sloane Heller (KSHB reporter & bridesmaid); Mike Marza (former KSHB reporter/anchor) and his wife, Rhiannon who are now in Miami; Larry Seward (former KSHB reporter) now in Houston; Nick Griffith (former KMBC sports anchor) now in Denver; and Jenn Strathmann (former KSHB reporter) now in Cleveland.
The newlyweds even rode a mechanical bull together at their reception (below).
