Newspaper Delivery

“Patience is a Virtue!”

That might be the slogan for today as Kansas City digs out from a huge snowstorm.

That also applies to The Kansas City Star (and USA Today, New York Times and other) subscribers as many news carriers are having a difficult time delivering print editions of newspapers today.

The Star has posted this notice on its Web site:

The Kansas City Star

Road conditions are presenting significant challenges to our carriers this morning. While primary roads in the metro are drive-able, many secondary roads in neighborhoods have yet to see a snow plow. Star subscribers may experience delivery delays or in many cases, the Saturday delivery will include today’s edition. However today’s edition of E-Star, The Star’s print edition on the web, is available at estar.kcstar.com, then select the desktop or mobile version sign-in. Or call 1-877-962-7827.

  1. NEWS CARRIERS ON JOB
We live in eastern Jackson county, and probably are one of only handful of families in this part of the world that still has a daily subscription to this remnant of the dead tree media.

My 90 y.o. father likes to read the paper everyday, and so far, the news carriers haven’t let us down, yet.

    Bravo. Well done.
