Hallie Shulman will be leaving her post as the weekend meteorologist at Wichita’s KAKE-TV to assume new duties as the weekend morning meteorologist at KCTV, sources have told Bottom Line Communications.

She is replacing Iris Hermosillo, who left the CBS affiliate in November for a position with KNXV in Phoenix. Shulman’s first day will be April 8.

A Denver native, Shulman joined KAKE, an ABC affiliate owned by Gray Television, in September 2010 after nearly two years at KTEN in Denison, TX.

She also worked as a fill-in meteorologist for KRCG in Jefferson City while earning her Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
