Friends and colleagues attended a special going-away party for KSHB investigative reporter Russ Ptacek Friday evening at Charlie Hooper’s in Brookside to wish him well as he takes his talents to WUSA in Washington, D.C. (see story).
One going away gift was a life-sized poster signed by his many friends.
“Is it a sign my colleagues think I’m a narcissist when their going away present is a life-sized, signed poster of ME!,” asked Ptacek.
Very sorry to see you go, for so many reasons. The two biggest are the great, searching, revealing stories you did here in town while the other is your hard work for great causes in the area.
