English philosopher Edmund Burke once said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
That might be the powerful message delivered in a three-minute video aimed at Catholics regarding how they should vote on key principles in this November’s election. The Catholic Church is the largest Christian church in the world with more than one billion members.
A group called “Catholics Called To Witness” based in Pembroke Pines, FL. says there are three non-negotiable principles members of the church must address in the upcoming election:
•Protection of life in all its stages, from the first moment of conception until natural death.
•Recognition and promotion of the natural structure of the family – as a union between one man and one woman based on marriage – and its defense from attempts to make it juridical equivalent to radically different forms of union which in reality harm it and contribute to its destabilization, obscuring its particular character and its irreplaceable social role.
•The protection of the right of parents to educate their children.
