Chris Pisano, co-anchor along with Dana Wright on KCTV’s morning team for years, has left his morning and weekday anchor post at WRTV in Indianapolis, according to the TVSpy site.
Pisano had been commuting from his home in Kansas City for nearly two years to the Indy post.
“Many of you have asked what Chris is going to be doing now,” wrote his former “Good Morning Indiana co=host on the station’s site.
“Well, he doesn’t have a job yet. For now, he’s going to be a stay-at-home Dad. After the last year and a half, I’d say it’s a job he’s anxious to tackle. He’s missed out on a lot and he’s ready to spend lots of quality time with his family.”
Pisano, who had been with KCTV for seven years until he was unceremoniously let go in 2010, had been a popular morning co-anchor with Dana Wright for several years at KCTV.
In January, Wright left KCTV to work as an afternoon talk show co-host on KMBZ radio.
Pisano graduated from the University of Massachusetts and has a Master’s in Mass Communications from Amherst.
