KSHB-TV41, Kansas City's NBC affiliate, was blitzed again in the recent sweeps period. And when you are dead last in the ratings during most time periods a housecleaning is often the response by management.

departures were sports reporter

The latest person to leave KSHB is reporter Bridget Cannata (L), who joined the station in March 2004 from WBTW in Florence/Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Born and raised in San Francisco, she has accepted a job with KOVR-TV, the CBS station in Sacramento, as a general assignment reporter/fill-in anchor.
She graduated from UCLA with a degree in English and Spanish and earned a Master's in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. She says she will truly miss KC barbecue.
