Once again, talk show host Conan O’Brien has put together a humorous clip of local news anchors all parroting the same story using the line, “the final days of the campaign can get a little salty.”

At least in this round of O’Brien clips no Kansas City TV station anchors were caught reporting on the story produced by CNN regarding restaurants in Washington, D.C. which started as:

“The final days of the campaign can get a little salty, but at restaurants in the nation’s capital, election season has been pretty sweet. Chefs have been cooking up candidate-inspired dishes, and putting them head-to-head.”
