Tom Becka, who spent several years as a talk show host in Kansas City before departing to KFAB in Omaha, is heading to Fargo, ND, to host an FM show there and oversee the station.
He will help start 101.9 Talk FM that will begin broadcasting 3/19 and also serve as program director.
Becka was with KFAB from 2004 until last October when he was let go.
He spent five years at KMBZ before moving to Omaha.

North Dakota is a growing market I believe. I would agree with ORG if Becka was just a talk show host.
Since he’ll actually be PROGRAMMING the station, I don’t really think it’s a demotion.
Just my observation.
