Guess everyone deserves a second chance.

But as a college instructor after you may have performed the worst on-air TV news event ever?

A.J. Clemente, the young West Virginia journalism graduate whose first words on-air as an anchor at KFYR in Bismark, ND, were “f—king sh-t,” is now a media instructor at Rennert International in New York City, according to TV Spy. (See his TV debut below.)

After his awful debut Clemente was quickly fired and went on the “Today” show and “David Letterman” and other media outlets to explain his actions and try to get rehired by any TV station in the country. That didn’t seem to work out too well for him.

But what would almost seem like a joke story on the Onion site is actually true. A school has hired him to teach others how it is done. Maybe he serves as a bad example of what not to do.

It would be kind of like having Alec Baldwin teach classes on how to work with the media effectively.

Clemente is a guy who couldn’t find a clue in a Parker Brothers warehouse, and is now teaching others the tools of the trade.

“The classes are sold out. We have plenty of kids that want to come over … and maybe not [listen to] what I want to say, but they want to learn,” Clemente says.
