DOOLITTLE LEAVING KC STAR; HEADING TO CHICAGO
Bradford Doolittle, who has worked as a copy editor, page designer, statistics editor and baseball columnist during seven years at the Kansas City Star, will be joining his wife in Chicago and begin a new as yet unnamed job.
His last day at the Star will be 8/28.
Doolittle says he will still be writing about the Royals and the University of Missouri, and also covering the Chicago Bulls in the NBA.  He will continue to write for "Basketball Prospectus."
   "
Thanks to everyone for reading, responding, debating and screaming about the things I've written over the last few years," he said. "It's been a rich experience for me and I hope I've added a modicum of perspective to the discourse about Kansas City sports during my time. Happy trails."
