TED TEXTOR TO LEAVE KCTV-5 WEEKEND WEATHER

Ted Textor, weekend
weather anchor at KCTV5 since June 2004, will be relocating to Florida in the
near future. Reportedly he
will be working with his brother in a new
position. The station is currently seeking his replacement.
Textor has been a weathercaster for the past 20 years in
cities including Kansas City, Detroit, Miami, Las Vegas, Buffalo and Topeka. He
also anchored weather segments for CNN during a six year span from 1991-1997.
Since 2001, Textor has flown for US Airway’s Express/Air
Midwest. A KU graduate, he will relocate from Shawnee with his wife
and two children.
