BOTTOM LINE EXCLUSIVE:
KELLY JONES LEAVING SAN DIEGO TO ASSUME MORNING POST AT KCTV5
Kelly Jones, who joined San Diego's KFMB-TV in February 2007, will be leaving that position with the CBS affiliate in the next few weeks to take over morning co-anchor duties at CBS's KCTV5 in Kansas City.
Greg Adaline, who joined KCTV5 in May 2009 as a general assignment reporter, will co-anchor the morning broadcast with Jones.
Jones began her broadcasting career in Yuma, AZ and was the morning and noon anchor at KYMA-TV there. She also found time to anchor a nightly entertainment segment on radio station KLJZ FM/Z93.

She then accepted a main anchor position at KSVI/KHMT in Billings, Montana, for the 6, 9 and 10 p.m. award-winning newscasts. After leaving Montana, Jones spent the next three years as an American Diplomat in Tirana, Albania and Brussels, Belgium.
It was in Belgium where she was tapped to be the Brussels Weekly newsletter editor. The publication is prepared for Embassy, U.S. Mission to the European Union and U.S. NATO employees, family members and expatriates throughout Belgium and the world.
A former "Jet Beauty," Jones is a graduate of Wayne State University. Her husband, Jay, is in the U.S. Marine Corps and they are the parents of two children.
Adaline's previous stop was in Lansing, Mich., where he anchored the morning and noon shows at WLNS-TV for four years.
A native of Sterling Heights, Mich., he graduated from Oakland University and started his on-air career with WDIV in Detroit.
