Long-time KMBZ Program Director Neil Larrimore, who was let go at the Entercom station in November, has landed a new position in Phoenix, according to the All Access radio site. According toAll Access, Larrimore will be the new Program Director at news talker KFYI-AM and sports talker KGME-AM, the Clear Channel-owned stations in Phoenix.
As reported by Bottom Line exclusively, Larrimore had been with news talker KMBZ (980-AM, 98.1 FM), since 2004. He came to the station from Cox Radio’s WHIO-AM in Dayton, where he had spent two years as assistant program director. During his career he spent four years as assistant program director at WWDB-FM in Philadelphia and was Music Director / Promotion Dir / On-Air Host and Producer at WFIL & WZZD in Philadelphia for three years.
He graduated from Temple University with a communications degree.
