KMBC-TV9 is back on top of the TV
ratings race in the Kansas City market after convincingly crushing all
competitors at nearly every news time slot during the just completed November
sweeps period. Even when lead-ins were lower than competitors, KMBC still
won the highly coveted 10 p.m. news slot.
KCTV5 had taken the top spot in
the last five ratings books for the first time in more than a decade over KMBC.
The biggest loser was KSHB-TV41, which was at the bottom of the ratings heap in
the morning, 5pm and 6pm and third at 10pm.
