MORE CHARGES DROPPED IN STEVENS CASE
After charges were dropped against Glenn Stevens in Versailles, MO yesterday, two more counties have now dropped their charges against him, according to Donald Bradley, Kansas City Star reporter.
It now leaves leaves only Nodaway County in north Missouri with any charges against Stevens. The family has reportedly spent $70,000 in legal fees defending him in all the wrongful cases.

WRONGLY ACCUSED OF ROBBING WALMARTS
KCTV'S WRIGHT'S STORY HELPS FREE 74-YEAR-OLD
A November sweeps story that told the moving story of a 74-year-old man wrongly accused of robbing a number of Walmart stores has resulted in all the charges being dropped in one jurisdiction, with the remaining charges expected to also be dropped.
"This was the best professional day of my life," KCTV investigative reporter Dana Wright told Bottom Line today after the ruling came out.
"I'm just thrilled for the family that it is finally over after 160 days."
Glenn Stevens, who lives in Raymore and operates a small office cleaning business with his wife, Irene, had been charged with a string of robberies at Walmart stores in two states. Despite proof that he was nowhere near the first store in Versailles, MO., officials continued with the charges.
"Officials based their arrests solely on Versailles," Wright said.  "They did a side-by-side photo comparison today and it's not him. Then he agreed to a polygraph and passed with flying colors. It's over."
Wright picked up the cause of Stevens, after he was arrested and put in jail. Stevens and his family had vehemently denied the allegations and Wright became convinced of his innocence.
After Wright highlighted the story on KC's CBS affiliate other media members, including Donald Bradley at the KC Star, and the Shanin & Parks and Darla Jaye radio shows on KMBZ joined the cause.
The family started a blog to highlight the injustice being done.
