JOY OF EDITING WHITLOCK (RECENT TWEETS):
"Filed my Favre column. I'm sure it will post on FOX after my staff of white writers finish rewriting it. I'm just a dumb Negro. (sarcasm)
"My re-white-ers r very good. Thank them"

RIVETING REPEAT: WHITLOCK PIMPING FOR JEFF GEORGE
Some Kansas City Star readers have been whining for the return of columnist Jason Whitlock, who has been missing in action since May 26.
Unfortunately, many seemed to have forgotten exactly how mediocre and lazy a writer he has been.
Whitlock was a distant second as a sports columnist at the Star to Joe Posnanski, who is now in the big time with Sports Illustrated. In fact, Whitlock may be in second place again to new shining star columnist Sam Mellinger at the newspaper.
While he may think he is as talented as his writing idol the late, great Mike Royko, he often simply recycles his tired views on topics and often covers the same tired ground over and over again.
If you doubt it, check out his latest effort for FOX Sports, where he recycles a column for at least the 1,000th time about his love affair of washed up quarterback Jeff George.
