Radio extension

101The Fox (KCFX-FM) has extended its radio broadcast rights for the Chiefs through the 2009 season. The completion of the current extension will culminate 20 years as the flagship station of the Chiefs. The relationship represents the longest-standing relationship in the NFL with an FM station.

    Peterson said Entercom (610 AM) and Union Broadcasting (810) also bid for the contract. KCFX had the right of first refusal and matched all offers.
