Summary: Karli Ritter will be joining the WDAF-TV, Fox 4 weather team March 19. She will become a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist soon which will make Fox 4 the only station with four certified meteorologists on staff.
Karli Ritter will
be saying goodbye to her duties as the weekend meteorologist at WAKA, the CBS
affiliate in Montgomery, AL to join the weather team at WDAF-TV Fox 4 in Kansas
City. She will start this month and join (l-r) Joe Lauria, Don Harman and
Mike Thompson. Ritter, a native Floridian, joined WAKA in March of last year. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Florida State University and worked as the morning meteorologist for SNN News 6 in Sarasota. While working at SNN, she earned the American Meteorological Society’s Television Seal of Approval.
