Summary: The TV ratings for July in the Kansas City market have been released and it looks as if KMBC-TV9, the local ABC affiliate has regained its lead at the prestigious 10 p.m. time slot over rival KCTV-5, the local CBS station(see May "KCTV Sweeps Champ"). There is some debate over the importance of non-sweep numbers in July, but a win is a win and KMBC achieved it despite lackluster lead in shows.
