FOX 4 MORNING TEAM CRUSHING ALL COMERS
Other Kansas City TV stations might be leading in the ratings in other dayparts, but WDAF-FOX4 is crushing all with its free-wheeling weekday morning team.
     In the most recent July sweeps period FOX 4 recorded a 2.7 rating to lead KCTV5 (2.0); KMBC-TV9 (1.5) and KSHB-TV41 (0.8).
FOX4 dominated by an even larger margin in the 6 a.m. hour with a commanding 5.1 rating.  KMBC finished second at 3.8, KCTV5 third at 2.9 and KSHB at 1.5.
The morning shows have become very important ratings periods for TV stations, second only to the 10 p.m. news.
