Cincinnati native Emily Wood will be leaving her hometown Fox affiliate WXIX-TV where she was a reporter to take a new position with WDAF-Fox 4 in Kansas City.
Wood will be leaving Cincinnati, the nation’s 34th largest market, for KC, which is ranked 31st.
Her last day at WXIX is slated for October 26, with no official start date at Fox 4 announced.
Wood graduated from Otterbein College in Ohio and received her Master’s Degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2007. She started her broadcasting career at KDRV/KDKF in Medford, Oregon, as a reporter, anchor and producer
