Amy Warren, who was Director of Sales and Marketing at KCTV/KSMO for 2 1/2 years until last month, has been named the new Vice President of Sales at WDAF-TV.
In her new position she will oversee on-air, Web and mobile sales for the Fox station.
“I am pleased to announce Amy Warren as VP of Sales. Amy brings a wealth of experience to the market both locally and nationally and we are delighted to have her as part of our FOX 4 family,” stated Cheryl McDonald, WDAF-TV 4 President and General Manager.
Prior to coming to Kansas City Warren held the position of Director of Sales for nine years with Belo stations in Norfolk, Virginia and Spokane, Washington. She began her broadcast career as an Account Executive in radio working in Oklahoma City and Winston Salem, NC. Warren then moved to television where she worked at KOTV in Tulsa as an Account executive and was later promoted to Local and National Sales Manager positions.
She most recently worked at KCTV/KSMO, Kansas City’s Meredith-owned CBS affiliate, since February 2010.
She is a 1985 graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, with a BA in Education and a Minor in Psychology. She and her husband Steve have two daughters.
