Former KCTV morning co-anchor Matt Stewart joined the Fox 4 morning team this morning and it looks as if he might fit in perfectly with the laid-back, anything-goes style of the show.
He previously spent eight years at KCTV (LINK).
Although not “officially” on the air, Stewart made his on-screen debut by walking in front of meteorologist Joe Lauria’s weather screen.
“Loving my first day at Fox 4!” posted Stewart on his Facebook page.
“I’m meeting so many great people and learning the ropes, and the plan is for me to do my first reports Thursday AM. Looking forward to getting back on air and sharing the news of the day with all of you.”

    GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK
Saw Matt this morning reporting on the flyover in Liberty. Not one flub, didn’t make the incorrect call letters (I’ve NEVER done that – is my nose growing?… ;-D) only professionalism supreme. Congrats Matt! We’re glad to see you back and looking for more – Andrew Yates

P.S. Go buy Matt’s book -”The Walk On” – tell ‘em Yates sent ya! (I stole that from Mike Murphy when I was on the radio with him!)…
