Regarding Eric’s departure..and, you have first hand knowledge that inadequate compensation is the reason he’s leaving? Eric has spent a lot of work and personal time in Texas. He has few personal ties here. Maybe he saw an opportunity and pursued it.

I’d be willing to bet that the Kansas City Star print edition will be out of business within 5 years unless it reinvents itself as a conservative news outlet.

It’s hard to make money by assaulting the values of those you want to purchase your product.

Bushman joins the large KMBZ Alumni Association of talented people KMBZ wasn’t willing to pay enough to keep! Except for the lowly talented or complacent, KMBZ/Entercom Corporation is not a destination place for talented people to stay for long!

Just for those who can’t get a job in a better paying market.

John….a little over reaction here….the article is clearly labeled “commentary”…and he obviously interviewed the owner and the other principals……he put the issue into historical context..

I can only imagine the outcry in KC if The Star put a wrap around of a sample ballot endorsing any candidate…..I am confident that your voice expressing outrage would be one of the loudest….
