A great sweeps piece was delivered by Orlando’s WFTV about a parking lot owner taking off on a 61-mile joyride over two days with a car entrusted to him. The lot owner even took the Corvette convertible home with him for the night and hauled stuff with it.
    Reporter Jeff Deal had been tipped off that the lot owner was driving customers’ cars, so he rented the Corvette and equipped it with GPS as the lot owner acted as if it was his own car. It’s also great TV watching the owner deny he was the one being filmed driving the car.
