Summary:  All reporters they are sports experts, even when their normal beat is covering city stuff.  Yael Abouhalkah of the KC Star made his fearless predictions for Friday's (3/28) NCAA basketball tournament and was very wrong on three of four games.  03-28-2008

NCAA March Madness brackets: Will KU lose? (yes)

By Yael T. Abouhalkah, Kansas City Star Editorial Board
Now it's KU's turn to see how well it fares in the Sweet 16. Too bad the Jayhawks won't survive their test against a battle-hardened Villanova.
Here are Friday's matchups. In my contest, you get a fresh bracket each round, a new chance to pick winners and losers. My record so far: 34-18. (Jennifirm, you're 37-15)
Wisconsin beats Davidson
 Texas beats Stanford
Villanova beats Kansas
Michigan State beats Memphis.

Check back here for Saturday's brackets.

FEEDBACK   03-29-2008

"I want you to know while Yael may not be much at picking basketball games, he was a formidable runner while attending Shawnee Mission West high school.

"I know this because we used to do battle on a regular basis in cross country and track when I attending Lawrence High. Yael was a bit intimidating because even back then, he wore the beard he wears now, except it was black!"   -----John Rinkenbaugh
