JoPo on sabbatical.

SUMMARY: The Readers' Rep at the Kansas City Star is reporting today that popular sports columnist Joe Posnanski will be on "sabbatical" for a few months. It is believed that he is spending the time writing another book.
In 2007 Posnanski wrote the book "The Soul of Baseball: A Road Trip Through Buck O'Neil's America" and is considered one of the top sports columnists in the nation. He wrote his last Star column April 22.   05-07-2008

No Joe - for a while, at least

A reader e-mails, "What have you done with Joe Posnanski?"
Joe's on sabbatical for a few months, and will be writing for The Star sporadically. He will be back later this year, though. The Sports department will write a quick note for the paper to let others know, because I'm sure lots of people will miss his columns.
