GOSSMAN ON SMALL BUSINESS SHOW FRIDAY
Don Gossman, one of the nation's leading authorities on the mortgage crisis and all aspects of property appraisals, was a special guest Friday morning (9-10 a.m.) on the "Eye on Small Business" radio show on KCTE-1510 AM.
Gossman, president of Overland Park-based Gossman & Associates (LINK), has developed a national reputation as an expert witness, speaker and consultant in mortgage fraud. He has worked with the U.S. Attorneys Office, Fannie Mae and the FBI.
In 2006, Gossman became involved in one of the largest mortgage fraud cases ever in Kansas City and agreed to wear a wire while working with the FBI. The case involved a prominent politician, Katherine Shields, who was a Jackson County Executive who later was Mayoral candidate in Kansas City, MO.
Gossman explained how his normal life as a small business owner dramatically changed overnight because he refused to compromise his ethics.
