Jenna Hanchard, who most recently was with CBS affiliate WBNG-TV12 in Binghampton, NY, has joined KSHB-TV41 as a multimedia journalist on its morning show.
    Hanchard is being brought in along with a new morning producer, Kat Boutwell (story), to help bolster ratings at the NBC affiliate.
    Hanchard anchored WBNG’s weekday 5 p.m. newscast, which included a daily interview segment. She also shot, wrote, produced, edited daily packages and live content during her two-year stint there.
    Before joining WBNG she worked as a production assistant for six years with WMAQ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Chicago.
    In 2008 she also spent two months as a production assistant for the Summer Olympics in Beijing, and three months in 2007 as an intern with  “NBC News With Brian Williams.” She has a BA degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.
