WDAF-Fox 4 morning anchor Mark Alford had a little slip of the tongue this morning while demonstrating ghost hunting tools on the air.

Alford (below) held up a little meter and Meteorologist Karli Ritter immediately spoke up and said, “Oh, I know that…”

At that point Alford announced that it was a “KY Meter.” He later corrected himself and called it a “K2″ meter.

The Fox 4 site noted, “Mark Alford got his hands on some new ghost-hunting tools, including one that may or may not have more than one use.”

    HAPPY TALK
This is why I generally don’t watch the local TV stations – too much “happy talk”, too much general nonsense. There is plenty of real news out there that these folks need to be covering and reporting on. Wake up and smell the coffee, Fox 4!

PEOPLE DO NOT LIKE REAL NEWS

Unfortunately, people do not like real news.

    -Celebrity
    -Gossip
    -Feel good stories.

Ratings dictate what TV stations put on the air and news doesn’t translate to huge viewers.

So while your theory is great, it won’t work.

    ALFORD A STUMBLER
mark alford stumbles on air more than ANY person I have ever seen in any market in America… he would last maybe a week in a
top 20 market, why he hangs on here is really amazing, That is why I do NOT watch #4 in the morning ! Plain & Simple !

    NOT AN ALFORD FAN
Mark Alford has got to be the most unprofessional newscaster in the history of KC. He is always stumbling, bumbling, and looks like he would rather be anywhere but the studio. At least the others on FOX4 try to be pros.
