Last week KCTV did a heartwarming story of granting a dying man his wish to go for one last motorcycle ride.
This weekend it was Monica Evans and the crew at FOX who highlighted members of Shawnee Park Christian Church, who volunteered to paint the fence of Robert Grier, 84, a member of their church who was dying. Grier had been hoping to paint the fence for years.
Sadly, Grier died Sunday morning before he was able to see his fence painted.
“However,” Evans notes, ”his family believes he’s looking down on them free of pain and at peace knowing his fence is mended.”
