Dave Dunn

    Dave Dunn, who has been a news reporter at WDAF-Fox 4 in Kansas City for nearly five years, has resigned from the station reportedly to take a job outside of television.
    His final story aired Sunday night.
    Dunn joined Fox 4 in August 2007 after spending two years at KSPR-TV in Springfield, MO, as a reporter and at year at KQTV in St. Joseph, MO.
    Following graduation from the University of Missouri in media and broadcast journalism he worked as a marketing consultant with Clear Channel Communications in Springfield. He later received an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Kansas.

    Sharita Hutton is filling Dave Dunns position. Weekend nightside. Starts this weekend. Everyone is surprised by this, she was forced out.

    I don’t understand the comment by “employee”, that “she was forced out.” Does “employee” mean “he [Dunn] was forced out”? Or is “employee” referring to Sharita Hutton? What was Hutton forced out of? Help!

    Dave Dunn was not at all forced out. He loved his time at Fox 4, but an opportunity came to light that was too good to pass up. He will become Sr. Account Executive in the PR Dept with GlynnDevins ad agency.
