Union Station hanky-panky? (Photo links to site)
12-03-2008
UNION STATION EXHIBIT FEATURES HANKY-PANKY!!
A new exhibit at Kansas City's Union Station called "Dialog in the Dark" features blind or visually-impaired guides taking visitors on what is called a "life-changing journey."
The exhibit is designed to encourage "teamwork, communication, trust and understanding," according to Union Station folks.
It also seems to be encouraging more than just "dialog." There have also been several reports of visitor hanky-panky in the darkness, according to a lively discussion this morning on WDAF-TV's "FOX 4 News Morning Show."
Reportedly several couples have had to be kicked out after being caught fooling around while the tour is going on in the darkness.
"They were able to bust people in the acts because Union Station has infra-red cameras set up," noted morning host Mark Alford. "If you go to the exhibit keep in mind Union Station can see everything going on in the dark!"
Ironically, "Dialog in the Dark" comes on the heels of the controversial "Bodies Revealed" exhibit (link to Aaron Barnhart's latest story about it). Maybe checking out bodies at Union Station is simply a continuation of Bodies Revealed...
The exhibit will run from Friday, November 14, 2008 through Sunday, March 29, 2009. Tickets for adults are $22.
